Two sisters on trial for murder. They accuse each other. Who do you believe?

“911 what’s your emergency?”

“My dad’s dead. My sister Sofia killed him. She’s still in the house. Please send help.”

“My dad’s dead. My sister Alexandra killed him. She’s still in the house. Please send help.”

One of them is a liar and a killer.

But which one?

I didn't know that this was book five in the series of Eddie Flynn. I remember wanting to read book four just because the title and blurb sounded good. Then I jumped in and started with book one, which wasn't my favorite, but it gave me insight into Eddie and who he is.
Fast forward, I was in my public library and saw the cover and again read the blurb and was like. Oh, this sounds good. Little did I know it was the fifth book, but I do feel like it could be read as a standalone. I don't believe I missed anything by not reading the book before it.
Now, we have two sisters who both have called 911 and said that the other one killed their father. Which one is behind it? While each lawyer is trying to clear their client, it seems murder is still happening. Someone is trying to make sure that the truth doesn't come out.
I can't wait to read another book in this series, as it is very captivating, especially with Eddie being an ex-con artist and knowing how criminals will act.
