On the day she was abducted, Annie O’Sullivan, a 32-year-old realtor, had three goals - sell a house, forget about a recent argument with her mother, and be on time for dinner with her ever-patient boyfriend. The open house is slow, but when her last visitor pulls up in a van as she's about to leave, Annie thinks it just might be her lucky day after all.
Still Missing interweaves the year Annie spent as the captive of a psychopath in a remote mountain cabin, which unfold through sessions with her psychiatrist, with a second narrative following the events after her escape—her struggle to piece her shattered life back together and the ongoing police investigation into the identity of her captor.

Interesting take on being kidnapped and raped. Trigger warnings for those who need them.
Our main character is a working woman, that is, until one day, some random person kidnaps her. What occurs over the next year is trauma, rape, seclusion. She has no real sense of time, just that she can only use the bathroom at certain times. Y'all I would have done pissed on myself because there is no way you gonna have me on a schedule of when I need to use the bathroom.
With that said, we learn that her mother is a jerk. I mean a real bona fide jerk. Cares more about herself than her daughter. There were some things that didn't add up, but I could overlook them and just enjoyed the story being told. With this book, you are either going to love it or hate it. Just jump in and enjoy the ride.
