I have now decided I want a dragon. Let's just go on and make this happen because, y'all, I literally fell in love with her. I see why they are protecting her at all costs. She is the new era of good things if those with evil intentions stay out of the way.
Our characters from the first book play a massive part in this second one, a whirlwind of betrayal, deceit, protection, and friendship.
I found myself on multiple occasions going, OMG, are you serious? Like, let me reread and make sure I read that correctly.
The author did another great job with this world-building, especially with all the magic written within the pages.
Again, the ending!! Rue does a fantastic job of leaving you with cliffhangers that make you want to read more.
