Morgan Grant and her sixteen-year-old daughter, Clara, would like nothing more than to be nothing alike.

Morgan is determined to prevent her daughter from making the same mistakes she did. By getting pregnant and married way too young, Morgan put her own dreams on hold. Clara doesn’t want to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Her predictable mother doesn’t have a spontaneous bone in her body.

With warring personalities and conflicting goals, Morgan and Clara find it increasingly difficult to coexist. The only person who can bring peace to the household is Chris—Morgan’s husband, Clara’s father, and the family anchor. But that peace is shattered when Chris is involved in a tragic and questionable accident. The heartbreaking and long-lasting consequences will reach far beyond just Morgan and Clara.

While struggling to rebuild everything that crashed around them, Morgan finds comfort in the last person she expects to, and Clara turns to the one boy she’s been forbidden to see. With each passing day, new secrets, resentment, and misunderstandings make mother and daughter fall further apart. So far apart, it might be impossible for them to ever fall back together.

I love me some Colleen Hoover! I know some folks are on the fence with some of her books but for me she really pulls me in and I either want to throw her books or hug them lol. This story was everything! We all know how teenage daughters can be towards their mothers especially when their father's hang the moon for them. This is how it is for Clara. When something happens to turn her life upside down she is being a normal teen and just really thinking about herself. Her mother Morgan all I can say is wow! Like how you handled the outbursts how you handled the issues that arised, you are an amazing mother. This is a story of love, heartbreak and how if it is meant to be it is meant to be. Just go and pick this book up don't even try to find a review givinge you spoilers this is one that you will dive into and finish in one setting. I can't say anymore. I just need to own this book in paperback now.
Attraction isn’t something that only happens once, with one person. It’s part of what drives humans. Our attraction to each other, to art, to food, to entertainment. Attraction is fun. “Relationships are hard for that very reason. Your body and your heart don’t stop finding the beauty and the attraction in other people simply because you’ve made a commitment to one person. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you’re drawn to someone else, it’s up to you to remove yourself from that situation before it becomes ...
