Not gonna lie when I saw this book in a local bookstore that was closing I knew I had to get it. I will say as I started reading halfway through I noticed I had read this book before but never wrote a review so here it is. I had read the novella and book one and fell in love with the idea of a facility where serial killers could be watched and observed and asked questions. I mean what makes them tick and do what they do? Well, we know that Dr. Talbot is that woman who has been hit with evil from an early age and it is her mission to figure serial killers out. As our story unfolds and Dr. Talbot finds herself juggling a relationship and working hard at her job, she will find evil come alive again. Her newest patient supposedly has performed lobotomies yet, nothing can be proved. Though with a bit of digging Dr. Talbot discovers the truth in the end, will she be too late? I can't wait to dive into book three because I am curious will her past evil named Jasper catch her or be caught? You can only run from evil for so long before it comes up close and personal.

It was a shocking experience that jump-started Brenda Novak’s bestselling author career.
