Book One, A Soul to Steal:
A serial killer on the loose, two reporters in his sights, and a legendary ghost haunting the town...
Lord Halloween, a vicious murderer who targeted Loudoun County, Va., twelve years ago, has returned. Quinn and Kate, two community journalists, race to uncover his identity before a promised bloodbath on Halloween. But to stop him, they may unleash a far darker threat -- and pay an unimaginable price.

Book Two: Band of Demons: Quinn and Kate confront a new evil that threatens to destroy their town. The novel has earned rave reviews for its "plot twists that will leave you gasping for air."

Book Three: Give the Devil His Due: "A stellar conclusion to one of the best trilogies I've ever read... I'm still reeling from the ending."

I received this book to give an honest review.
This box set took me a long time to read well because it was three big books into one. Though I am not hating I love it but it just did take me some time. It was nice to go from book one, to two, to three!
As far as characters go they were all well developed even the evil characters. My favorite part through out the entire book is learning what Kate's power was! To me that was simply freaking amazing! I honestly do not believe I have read anything like her in other books so that was for sure fresh for me.
In book one we are introduced to a serial killer named Lord Halloween everyone in Loudoun County is kind of not into Halloween because of this. Then comes into Quinn and Kate who are darn good reporters though what happens when they uncover who he is well that leads them into the world of the supernatural. Nightmares that become reality leads up to a who Quinn and Kate need to become!

In book two we learn who Quinn and Kate truly are though Quinn and Kate will not use their gifts for evil but for good. Kate takes center stage in this one I love who she becomes! I so want to say but yet it gives it away. She will tap into her power and it will help her in more than one way. I think the author did a great job bringing mythology into the book and not over doing it. The evil that plans on coming into the town of Loudoun County and destroying it along with Quinn and Kate is something I never thought could be considered evil, but the author did a great twist.

Book three ends with a big bang and there is plenty of action that will leave you turning the pages to find out how it will all end.
Kate and Quinn will be in a battle to save not only the world but the person they love. It seems that this battle has been planned for a while from Sanheim. Kate will become even more powerful it seems, and she is determined to end this once and for all.
In this book Quinn will get a look at where Sanheim seems to be at and will have to battle a lot of different obstacles to get where he needs to be. He will meet old friends, and enemies will help him out when needed. When it is all said and done evil will either destroy the world or the good that Kate and Quinn have will be you just have to read to find out.

If you like supernatural, the story line of the headless horseman, and mythology creatures that show up pick this trilogy up.
