There is no true faith until one follows blindly.
Henry and Elaina Daniels continue to build their relationship, but everything comes crashing down around what stability they have established. Even with the birth of their baby and a journey back north, Henry tumbles further into his sickness.
Gunther Erikkson spends so much time trying to save face, he loses himself in the process. He allows his carnal desires and needs to take over, making a mistake that will change his life forever. Deep down, he feels like he is failing his son, hiding his pain until confronted once again.
Will Gunther learn to live again, finding it in himself to move forward and be the man Quinn taught him to be?
Affected by the chaos across the seas, Erik Carlson, the head scientist in the program, gathers a team and develops a plan to bring Henry back to the facility. However, the cure he’s offering comes with great consequences. With only one chance at survival, Henry must decide whether to make the ultimate sacrifice, hoping to kill his demons once and for all.
Will Henry accept Erik’s offer, risking death in order to save himself and his relationship?

Wowzers! On this story. When I started reading this series I was kind of wondering where is all this going to go? Will the characters grow or will they still be the same a-holes. Well I can say in this one I found myself loving Gunther even more, feeling horrible for Henry and his demons to hating the hell out of Cora.
Gunther and Henry along with their families are trying to get their life back on track before the virus hit. They are moving in together, and even starting families. Though it seems that Gunther can't make anyone happy but Grey. Heck it seems he is still dealing with Quinn's death and it is hard for him.
Henry is dealing with his demons even more and when he decides to do something it will have an impact on everyone. He is scared of turning into his father the one man he despises.
Now Cora......what can I say. The way she was acting towards Gunther even after she knew what he had been through I could have slapped her. There were multiple times I felt rage towards this character. I still don't think she will ever let me like her.
I really liked how everyone is trying to have a normal life and jobs. It seems that there could possibly be hope after all that has been lost.
Gunther will come to face with the one person he had a fling with in the beginning and we get to learn if she did have the baby.
Henry will have someone from his past come and give him a choice on his life, the question will be for him what will his decision be?
Where we leave off I am so ready to see where book five will take us. I am sure there will be even more emotions than ever before.
