I received this book to give an honest review. *MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS* 4.5

I literally finished this book late last night, it seemed every time I started to read Stolen Dreams someone or something needed to be done. So when I was able to actually sit and read without any interruptions I was like wow what is going on between the two families of Cassie and Evan. 

With Cassie no longer in town, Evan seems to have bounty hunters on his head! I know shocking right? And when Cassie comes home to visit her family she learns that both families the Blackwoods and the Scots are both pretty much acting childish. Kidnapping each others family members, not being able to be in the same room with each other it is all just a hot mess. But we do learn why the Blackwoods and the Scots do not get along and I am glad that was brought to light as I have always wondered.

But it seems that there is more than just a family feud going on, and when Cassie and Evan do the unthinkable well lets just say it gets interesting. 

I love how Cassie doesn't have any paranormal powers like everyone else but yet she has learned how to take care of herself. And it seems that since she doesn't have any powers she has something else within her an ability to see things through her dreams, and I think that is way much cooler than have magical powers. 

 Cassie has really grown up a lot in this story and has learned that she should love herself the way she is. Everyone else does especially Evan. 

There is so much going on within this story that I am sad to see this series end. The author has done a great job with character building, the paranormal aspect, and the overall relationship between everyone. 

We get to know more about the side characters through out this story and it is enough to where I know that I would love to have more. More of Jason and Kaitlin, the relationship between Madison and Evan.  

*SPOILER ALERT*

Now one thing I had a problem with was how Cassie didn't interact as much with her siblings as before. They never play a big part in the story but Cassie has always seemed to be worried or concerned with them. When something tragic happens, Cassie didn't really seem to check in on her siblings. Which was not like her. This is the reason I have given the book a 4.5 rating and not a solid 5 because this was not like the Cassie I have read about before. It was like missing a small piece of the character.

Christine Amsden has been writing fantasy and science fiction for as long as she can remember. She loves to write and it is her dream that others will be inspired by this love and by her stories. Christine writes primarily about people and relationships, and it is in this way that she strives to make science fiction and fantasy meaningful for everyone.
At the age of 16, Christine was diagnosed with Stargardt’s Disease, a condition that affects the retina and causes a loss of central vision. She is now legally blind, but has not let this slow her down or get in the way of her dreams.
