I received this book from Edelweiss+. You know I requested this book because the summary really pulled me in. I wanted to know more about what was going to happen with Lucy finding out her husband cheated on her. I was honestly really disappointed. Just going to say I was lost like truly lost within the story being told. So Lucy's husband cheated on her and then it is decided to get back at this happening she can hurt him three times? It seems to say hey you cheated but that is okay let me abuse you a bit to make me feel better and make our marriage work. In the end, I was not sure about the Harpy part. Did Lucy become it or was she just a deranged woman? It was really hard for me to follow the plot and understand the characters. 








Megan Hunter

Megan Hunter was born in Manchester in 1984 and now lives in Cambridge with her young family. She has a BA in English Literature from Sussex University, and an MPhil in English Literature: Criticism and Culture from Jesus College, Cambridge. Her poetry has been shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and she was a finalist for the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award with her short story ‘Selfing’.

Megan’s first book, The End We Start From, will be published in 2017 by Picador (UK), Grove Atlantic (USA/Canada), Gallimard (France), Beck (Germany), Hollands Diep (Holland), and Elsinore (Portugal)
