Blurb/Synopsis:
Can two warlocks be too
many?
Yes, if one happens to
be your ex-husband trying to kill you for a witch divorce.
The other, a sexy
Aussie that makes you forget all the rest.
That’s Catherine Bank’s warlock
problem. She will have to choose between the two of them. Will she
marry either, or end it all in a spell battle that will bring Las
Vegas to its knees. Only time will tell. No one knows the mind of a
witch better than herself. Unless, she falls in love.

Excerpt: From Chapter 1 of Never Cross A Warlock
“What would you like me to
concentrate on today?”
I lowered my face into the little hole
in the headrest of the massage table and let out a small groan. “If
you could rub out those knots in my back, that would be great.”
Yes, there was only one place to go
when things were rocky with any man, especially if that man just
tried to kill you. The spa. The key to solving all of your problems,
or at least to get to that Zen moment of realization, is to get a
full spa treatment.
That’s how I found myself at one of
the best spas in Vegas—face down on a massage table, trying to
achieve some kind of relative state of peace to figure out how to
deal with my current man problems.
I exhaled as my masseuse rubbed out an
especially tight knot. “You have a lot of tension in your back.”
The masseuse’s voice sounded concerned as she used her elbow to
release that difficult knot.
“Tell me about it. I can sum up why
with one word: warlocks.”
She chuckled and gave extra attention
to the knot on my shoulder. “I hear you. Just takes one warlock to
ruin your balance.”
“In my case several.”
“Oh, that’s a problem to have.”
She laughed and rubbed down my back in small circles. The smell of
the lavender oil created a cloud of forgetfulness.
“I figured a spa trip would give me
the Zen frame of mind to sort it all out.”
“You’ve come to the right place.
How much pressure do you need?”
“Heavy. Enough to rub out my
memories.”
She answered with a rigorous attack
down the back of my thigh, moving in a smoothing line down my
hamstring. I was put into a spell of bliss. I’d asked for a massage
specialist for witches, and I could sense the healing energy running
through me. God, I needed this. I let her work me over, the scent of
lavender joined by rosemary as she eased my tired, battered
muscles—and with them, my emotions—into some sort of balance.
My mind started to wander as her
magical hands kneaded out my kinks. If only she could rub out the
kinks in my heart. Jeff, my current large knot of a warlock, was
better than I imagined. Thoughts of him had actually saved my ass
from the succubus stripper that had attacked me last night. Yet, I
was still feeling that non-committal vibe—again. I just didn’t
want to jump into something right after the huge betrayal my
ex-husband was laying on me. Well, soon to be ex. If we didn’t
renew our vows by tomorrow, we’d be officially split. The only
other alternative was a quick divorce witch-and-warlock style.
Meaning, I’d have to hide so he didn’t try to kill me.
Trust me. Never cross a warlock.
Divorce for us was usually a lightning bolt to the forehead. Whoever
has the fastest spell blast at the other wins everything. Till
death do you part is literal in our case.
