My Review:

 I won this book in a contest. 

  Giving this book 4 1/2 stars not 4. If you enjoy reading about half/demons, demons, Nephilim then you should give this book a try. I gave it 4 1/2 stars because while the plot was good it just seem that most of the story was hidden. You have Julia who has her house that she is living in go up in flames by a demon. Julia also has a power to which she can heal others and see people's aura. Which to me is pretty darn cool. When this unfortunate incident happens to Julia she is thrown into a world she has never known before. She is being hunted by Samyaza who is a demon. And she meets a very handsome, dark half demon/half human name Cayne (which I love the way his name is spelled) and they embark on a journey of keeping her alive while Cayne looks for Samyaza to kill him. 
 The part where I felt a lot of the story was hidden was when it came to Cayne, his intentions on helping and not helping Julia, and whole situation surrounding them. I wanted to know MORE! But of course now the author may have done that on purpose and maybe we will find out in book 2 Stolen? Also does Cayne really have feelings for Julia? Because before the whole train thing (you have to read the book to find out about it) it didn't seem as though Cayne wanted anything romantic to do with Julia. I highly suggest you give this book a try and see if you enjoy it. I think you may and you may also have a better view on the book than I did. Thank you Ella for allowing me to read your book. :D
