I received this book to give an honest review.
AHHHHHH! I love this author's writing. We are introduced to Rayonus who is love with Penelope, yet Penelope doesn't want anything to do with him as he is never truthful to her. She is done! Yet Ray seems not to be able to get the hint and he will wait a thousand years until she accepts that is sorry for what he has done. We see how this big bad demon is ready to be the best demon out there just to prove to her that he wants her. As the story unfolds she will learn more about Ray and what he truly does to protect the children of demons, it also seems that Penelope will learn about who she truly is. When she embraces it oh lordy watch out! This girl will for sure keep Ray on his toes. One word that stood out to me and it is such a funny word to say is 'dalliance', I have never heard of it before and I had to look it up. It fits for this couple as they will be using his BIG king size bed for many years!!!!! 
I loved how we got to see Mavis and Cameron back in the story. I love Mavis and her wittiness she keeps everyone on their toes and has me laughing when she is picking on Ray and Cameron. I think one thing I found that I could relate to with Mavis are the Christmas lights. That scene had me in a fit of giggles because that is so something I would have done to my husband.
