Will the past revealed the future hold a shocking conclusion. New heroes will be found and new allies will be made...lives will be lost and hearts will be broken...are you ready for the ride to hell and back?

I received this book to give an honest review.

Man there was a lot of action within this story that had me so engrossed that I honestly did not want to put the book down. I truly enjoy reading a story like that.  I have to say this before you read this book read book one that way you are not wondering who is who and how Renee has gotten so powerful.

Renee is not your normal hybrid she part witch and part vampire. But not only that she is the most powerful witch yet and she is not backing down from any fights within this book. She has found her one true love and even though they are together Renee is still being tortured by Damakeos, he is still out to get her. You would think the first time Renee kick his butt he would have learned his lesson but I guess not he is back for more.

All the characters from the first book are back and Tristan is still my favorite I love how he is such a smart-ass to Renee but yet he can calm her down a bit and make her think rationally.
With Renee pretty much battling her enemies she has to keep a close watch on her friends because they may not be as loyal as she thought they were. One in particular and when a certain thing was done for the sole purpose of selfishness I honestly could not believe this person would stoop so low. Renee learns about her family a lot more and seems to still get more questions than answers, there is a big cliffhanger at the end, people close to Renee will be lost. Will she let the evil inside of her come to the surface? Or will she let the light within her win?

A few of my favorite parts by Tristan and Renee.

He saw the sofa was torn to shred and laughed. "Love, have you not trained your dog properly? Doesn't he know better than to tear up the furniture? You know they have obedience school for these problems, hell, a rolled up newspaper works wonders I hear."

"Did you and Tristan trade places today? Because usually he's the ballsy one. Keep on letting that mouth write checks your ass can't cash." Renee spat back at him.

"Love, I knew you fancied strays, but this goes a little too far. First you bring home a dog, then a cat, now a human, have you lost your mind?"

Zoey Sweete
Zoey Sweete has been writing since she was around twelve years old. Always able to explain how she felt or put what she was thinking better on paper than saying it, writing became an outlet for her. The paper did not judge her or talk back, but listened to her inner struggles and allowed her to be free. It became a form of therapy for her.

Zoey Sweete is known for her Draven Witch Series but does not limit herself to just the paranormal genre. She has published several poetry collections, erotica both paranormal and some light BDSM, and is looking to expand herself more into the dark world of twisted thrillers. She will also take on writing under another pen name as well, Emerald Rai Fleurs or Rai Emeralds. This will allow her to push past her own boundaries, expand her audience, and even though she has never really limited herself on her writing as Zoey, she wanted to be able to do something different, and creating a new persona with a new style was something that sounded like a whole lot of fun.

She has several anthologies she has been featured in and now is looking to start collaborating with other authors whether for private collections or co-writing full length manuscripts. She will writing in these collections, collaborations, and anthologies both as Zoey Sweete and Emerald Rai Fleurs/Rai Emeralds.

Zoey Sweete is not only an author but also the owner of Phoenix Fire Publishing. She wanted to create a publishing company by an author for authors. She believes working one on one with each of her authors and developing not only a business partnership but a friendship as well.

She lives in Central Texas with her beautiful daughter who has her mother's unique sense of story telling and vivid imagination.

But she was told from an early age that if you were going to dream then dream big, or don't dream at all. Her dreams are just getting started....
