Interview and Giveaway with Dianna Hardy

A short Interview about the Hot Werewolves of Surrey.

  • Who would be your choice for a date between the three pack werewolves, and why? Ryan, Taylor or Lawrence?
Well, Taylor would be the easiest to get on with, and I'd probably feel the most relaxed with him if it were a date, but Ryan would be great for a laugh and if I needed cheering up. And Lawrence – oh, Lawrence – you'd need more than a date. You'd need a lifetime. He's not really date material – he's lifetime material ;)

  • If the four main characters in the Eye of the Storm series were cocktails, which cocktail would they be and why?
Okay, so I'm revealing how little I actually know about cocktails here! I think Taylor would be Sex On The Beach - fun, fruity, oddly comforting with some zest. Ryan would be a Hurricane – there's something about the mix of dark and white rum, Amaretto, all those citrus shots, plus that finishing cherry – yeah, it's a little naughty and a whole heap of trouble. Lawrence would be a Mojito: cool, refreshing and sort of distant – it's not a cocktail that “hugs” you, you know, but it sure as hell knows what it's doing. Finally, Lydia: she'd be a Morning Star – all that pineapple and sugar – it's a such a fun, sweet drink ;)

  • Who would play the following characters in a TV series/Film:

I am REALLY bad at this – I never picture actual people when creating my characters, so I always have to think really hard about this. And you have to picture all of these people with British accents!

Lydia: Rose McGowan for spunk and bubbliness (but they'd have to dye her hair red and give her violet-blue eyes!)

Ryan: Jon Bernthal (but older-looking, bulkier, with more muscle)

Taylor: Armie Hammer

Lawrence: Josh Holloway or Alexander Skarsgard

Amil: Remember how Antonio Banderas used to look twenty-five years ago? Someone like that – can't think who right now...

Sarah: Maybe someone like Mary Elizabeth Winstead
  • Is there a character in the series that is more difficult for you to write?

Amil had his difficulties to start with, because I felt I had to make him both likeable and dislikeable which isn't that easy – I still feel that way about him, actually. And Selena isn't easy to write, even though she's not played a huge part so far. If she were a person in real life, I would be completely turned off by her emotions and thought processes (even if they're understandable on some level), so I have to find a way to “get on with her” to write her well, lol.
  • Describe your Werewolves in 5 words.
HAWT! Fun. Tortured. Protective. Caring.
