Review: Tutti Frutti by Mike Faricy

Tutti FruttiAnother Dev Haskell tale. Dev is a back slapping, wrong guessing, babe-magnet private investigator in St. Paul, Minnesota. He falls head-over-heels for hot 'cougar' Candi, offering himself up as a midnight treat only to learn she has a sexual appetite that's more than he can handle. The moment he takes on Swindle Lawless as his new client bodies begin to wash up on shore and they all seem to be drifting toward Dev. A disbarred attorney, gangster twin brothers, a washed up porn star, illegal gambling and a sexually aggressive 'cougar' make for another incredibly fast-paced page turner from Minnesota's Master of the Bizarre, Mike Faricy. Mike's novels can be read in any order.

I received this book to give an honest review.
What makes this a great book well of course it has my favorite character Dev Haskell! Man oh man can he pick the girls, I don't think he has ever picked the right girl besides Heidi who even though he makes her so darn mad she still is there for him in more ways than one.
In Tutti Frutti, Dev gets pulled into yet another case and it goes all down hill! He meets a girl came Candi who works in a club called Tutti Frutt is not only a club it is a bondage club which is ran by a group of guys who are more like crime bosses! You do not want to cross the D'Angelo brothers and their friends or things could possibly go wrong for you.
Dev of course falls head of heels for a not to attractive female in other peoples eyes named Candi! But as soon as he gets involved with her things start falling apart for him. He gets asked or rather told that he needs to take a case with the client Swindle, as soon as he does things are going completely wrong. She has her own problems in more ways then one, the cops are gunning for Dev in murders and harassing people and could it be that Dev is being framed?
You will get your laughs with Dev as he tries to figure out what is going on the D'Angelo brothers, Swindle and Candi! Along with trying to figure out the murders that are going on.
My favorite quote in the book: "Yes, well sh** rolls down hill and you're pretty much at the bottom."
My favorite part was after one of those good roll in the hay with Candi, Dev could not sit at all.
You will find a good murder mystery filled with laughter in Tutti Frutti so why not go and get your copy today!

My Rating: 5 wine glasses
